A student’s last words…
“I feel a great personal responsibility, having had this opportunity of ‘freedom to study’.
I continue to learn invaluable things from my courses and because of my hard work and application, I was successfully able to finish many modules with good grades, with my current quarter GPA at 3.88 and a cumulative GPA of 3.66. Yet I am constantly aware that it is a privilege to study in such a stimulating and competitive learning environment, with access to academics, books and discourse. It is also humbling, knowing that so many of my peers have not been able to access such an opportunity.
Education is the future for all the peoples’ of Burma – and it is a resource I will not squander, as I deeply appreciate both the financial and moral support I get from BEST.”
